EMRS students achieve gold in English Olympiad

KANGPOKPI | Apr 21

Four students of Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Gamnom Sapormeina, Kangpokpi district achieved another gold medal from Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF), India.

Tinpilhing Haokip, Class X, daughter of (Late) Tongkholun Haokip of S Lhangnom Village, Mangneihoi Haokip, Class IX, daughter of Wilson Haokip of Gamnom Sapormeina, Lhingkhanthem Kipgen, Class VIII, daughter of Nehkholam Kipgen of Ngahmun village and Anjali Lhingcha Lunkim, Class VI, daughter of Thanglhun Lunkim of Saichang village, from Kangpokpi district bagged gold medal in the Seventh International English Olympiad 2016, organised by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF), India.

Earlier, Satgunmang Haokip from Kangpokpi, a student of the same school achieved the gold medal in the All India National Environment Talent Search Examination (NETSE) organised and sponsored by Mallinath International Foundation for Earth and Environment (MIFEE), Panaji, Goa and more than 94 students were awarded certificates for their fair performances.

The Eklavya Model Residential School, Gamnom Sapormeina also proudly announced the success of its students apart from announcing other 24 students who were awarded certificates for their fair performances in the Seventh International English Olympiad 2016.

The school principal Ngamkhohao Haokip and the staff congratulated the gold medalists and other 24 students.
